Born on January 14, 1998 in Meiringen. Already as a little boy I had a close relationship to the mountains. At the age of five I discovered my passion for climbing. climbing. At the age of 12 I was a member of the SAC Swiss National Climbing Team and took part in various IFSC European Cups as well as in the World Youth Championships in sport climbing (lead, bouldering). (lead, boulder). Soon freeriding, ski touring, mountaineering and rock climbing attracted me at the same time. Since there is nothing lacking in our region and there is so much to discover in winter as well as in so much to discover in winter and summer, I was unstoppable. Indoor climbing was no longer exciting enough for me - I wanted to explore the untouched, challenging and aesthetically and aesthetically pleasing side of mountaineering. A few years later, I took a liking to ice and mixed climbing. In these disciplines, too, my competitive spirit came out and soon I was successful in various international competitions, including the UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup. In 2019, I was able to win the World Cup in Saas Fee and Denver. for me. After nine ice climbing seasons, I realized that I would rather invest my energy in delightful projects in nature and first ascents. Today it is important to me that I can continue to develop in all disciplines.
